Berwick High School Rifle Team
The Berwick High School Rifle Team is promoted by the Nescopeck Hunting and Rifle Club. The school rifle team competes in the Northeast Rifle League. Nescopeck's indoor range is open to the student team members for practice twice a week during the season and holds five "home meet" competitions December through February.
Scouting and the Youth Shooting Programs
The Nescopeck Hunting and Rifle Club supports training of youth in their Youth Shooting Program. From March through September, young people from ages 8 through 18 will receive instruction and be able to practice air rifle and .22 rifles in the indoor range on Monday nights. Additionally, the Nescopeck club is open to the Scouting Venture group one day a year for instruction and practice.
Trap Shoots
The club offers trap shooting, open to the public, from mid-April until mid-October. The shoots are held on Tuesday evenings starting at 5:30PM.
Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP)
The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. The CMP is a federally chartered 501 (c) (3) corporation that places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and build life skills.
